July 24 (Reuters) -The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1945 GMT on Wednesday:
** EDF's Italian unit Edison EDNn.MI and gas grid operator Snam SRG.MI are expected to announce on Thursday a deal on gas storage assets with a base price of nearly 600 million euros ($651 million), two sources with knowledge of the matter said. nL8N3JG2GP
** U.S. grains merchant Bunge BG.N and Glencore-backed GLEN.L Viterra's $34 billion merger deal is heading towards conditional EU antitrust approval, a person with direct knowledge of the matter said. nL1N3JG0QR
** Reckitt Benckiser RKT.L will consider options for its troubled nutrition business and offload a portfolio of homecare brands by the end of 2025, it said, planning to refocus on healthcare and hygiene. nL1N3JG07K
** Portugal's government wants to privatise flag carrier TAP sooner rather than later to take advantage of market interest in the airline and is moving forward with preparatory work, Infrastructure Minister Miguel Pinto Luz said. nL8N3JG19J
** Britain's Informa INF.L said it had reached a deal to buy Cannes Lions Festival owner Ascential ASCL.L for 1.2 billion pounds ($1.6 billion), adding the flagship ad industry conference to its portfolio of events. nL4N3JG0EZ
** Australia's Peak Rare Earths PEK.AX said Chinese miner Shenghe Resources 600392.SS would acquire a 50% stake in an U.K.-based firm that owns 84% of its Ngualla project in Tanzania. nL4N3JG016
** Robert Bosch has agreed to acquire Johnson Controls' JCI.N and Hitachi's 6501.T residential ventilation businesses for $8 billion, it said on Tuesday, in what will be the German engineering group's largest takeover to date. nL4N3JF0OW
** Isaac Perlmutter, one of the largest investors in Walt Disney DIS.N, has sold his entire stake in the media company after losing the proxy fight, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday. nL4N3JF252
