ISTANBUL, Sept 13 (Reuters) -Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Friday.
The lira TRYTOM=D3 was quoted at 33.9205-34.0400 against the U.S. dollar at 0306 GMT, compared with a close of 33.93 on Thursday.
GLOBAL MARKETS
The dollar on Friday slumped against the yen while gold hit an all-time peak as investors ratcheted up bets for a super-sized Federal Reserve interest rate cut next week after media reports suggested the decision was a tough one for officials.
ERDOGAN SCHEDULE
President Tayyip Erdogan will make a speech at an opening ceremony for a university complex in Istanbul (1100 GMT). He will then chair a meeting of the Turkish Wealth Fund executive board. (1300 GMT)
CENTRAL BANK SURVEY TRINTM=ECI
The central bank will announce the results of its September survey of market participants' expectations for the economy. (0700 GMT)
FOREIGN MINISTER
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan attends a meeting in Spain of the contact group formed by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League.
TURKISH-AMERICAN ACTIVIST
Turkey has opened an investigation into the death of a Turkish-American activist believed to have been shot by Israeli troops in the occupied West Bank and will request international arrest warrants, Ankara said on Thursday.
VICE PRESIDENT
Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz will attend opening ceremonies in the southeastern province of Bingol. (0840 GMT)
AGRICULTURE MINISTER
Agriculture Minister Ibrahim Yumakli attends a G20 agriculture ministers summit being held in Brazil.
