Wells Fargo jumps after Q3 profit beats on lower provisions

** Co sees 2024 interest income down ~9% but expects it could actually benefit from rate cuts going ahead because bank will pay out less to clients to hang on to their deposits
** "We remain bullish on WFC shares," says Raymond James analyst David Long
** Bank is also working to lift a $1.95 trillion asset cap imposed by the Fed in 2018 that prevents it from growing until regulators deem it has fixed problems
** "Call commentary suggested firm is on its way to getting out from the asset cap, which is helping to boost shares," says Macrae Sykes, portfolio manager at Gabelli Funds, which owns shares of WFC
