Foreigners turn to liquid Indian bonds in volatile October
Foreign investors have turned towards liquid Indian government bonds as yields have been volatile so far in this month, traders say
These investors have net bought 5-year 7.04% 2029 bond IN070429G=CC worth 13.9 billion rupees ($165.6 million), and benchmark 2034 bond IN071034G=CC worth 11.6 billion rupees till Oct. 10, CCIL data shows

"The month has been very eventful so far and that caused a lot of volatility, with trading money now chasing the liquid part of the curve," trader with a foreign bank says

Traders say once the volatility subsides, passive flows for the month may start coming in
